Sank down on the dry grass
feeling exhausted
tried to relax
in the dappled sunlight
sipping iced tea....
Emotions darted around
like unsettled fish
clenching her eyes to shut
tried to clear her mind....
Felt an urge to scream
disturbed by the trauma
that devastated her...
At that very moment
sudden downpour
brought back all sorts of
mixed emotions and
as rains tickled her naple
tears trickled on her
flushed cheeks....
